I’m Dhruv, lover of the latest hot new sneakers, witty TV shows and movies, and crisp winter sunsets. I’m a dreamer and a goal-setter, traits my parents instilled in me when they bravely left behind all that was familiar to immigrate from India to the U.S. They sacrificed their “today” to give our family a better tomorrow, and without that, I wouldn’t be here living this life I love.
They also instilled in me a love for travel—I mean, when you’re born in India, learn to ride a bike during a childhood in Kenya, get to play outdoor sports year-round as a teen in Orlando, and finally cheer on the Braves to their first world series since 1995 in Atlanta, you definitely learn the value of exploring new places!
But most of all, the freedom my parents’ sacrifices gave me is actually what motivates me to capture people at their most free—laughing with their new spouse, dancing with their closest friends, and bearhugging their family members on their wedding day. That joyful moment where you realize you’re having an epic party with everyone in the world you love….it just doesn’t get better than that. Because who are we without our favorite people?
So, I invite you to come on more than a photography journey with me—this is a life journey. We’re going to celebrate your personalities and the personality you share as a couple. We’re going to make sure your groom is treated as more than an accessory when it comes to photos, because why does the groom always get left out of the fun, creative stuff? We’re going to embrace those Southern summer showers and get some epic dancing-in-the-rain photos because why not?
